and raised in the Parry Sound Muskoka area, Aislynn moved to Barrie, Ontario where she graduated from
Georgian College in 2002 with a diploma in Interior Design. With experience in manual drafting, computer
aided design and building code; she took a placement within the college as the Architectural Manager's
Assistant in the Physical Resources department. Upon returning to Parry Sound in the fall of 2002, Aislynn
took a contract position for computer aided design at local manufacturing facility.
For several years Aislynn lived on the West Coast and returned to
Parry Sound once more in the fall of 2006 where she took a position at a local building centre. She became
the on-staff designer taking on various projects including: home plans, cottage plans, bunkie plans, cabin
plans, deck plans, screen porch plans,
garage plans, additions and renovations.
With more than 8 years’ experience in the building industry she
has gained not only design experience but
varied knowledge in building products including: windows, doors, lumber, roofing, siding, and fixtures.
extensive knowledge gives her an advantage in helping you plan your space or project.

Founded in 2015 by Aislynn Garside and her husband Mike
as a division of the family owned construction
company. Together the two companies provide their clients with over 60 years combined experience in
building industry. Cottage Country Design is based in the heart of "cottage country" on the outskirts of
Parry Sound, in Seguin Township.
They have experience dealing in all local townships
including: Archipelago, Carling, McDougall, McKellar, Whitestone, Parry Sound, Seguin, and Georgian Bay.
Outside of the immediate area, they have also worked
with Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville, and Muskoka Lakes. While they have direct experience with
